Octoechos Section

This section is dedicated to building a collection of Octoechos melodies organised across the eight liturgical tones. Over time, I aim to publish most, if not all, of the variable elements used throughout the Octoechos: Troparia, Kontakia, Lord, I Have Cried stichera, Alleluias, Prokeimena, and the Irmoi of the Canon.

The collections are presented in two formats: standard notation (simplified Obikhod style, with melody and ison only) and pointed notation (see the Digital Pointed Notation Guide).

The section is being developed gradually, with new collections added as they are notated and prepared for publication. Announcements about new releases are posted below.

Downloadable Materials

To stay informed about new additions to the Octoechos and other resources on this site, you can subscribe to the Newsletter. It is sent only when there is something worth sharing.
